Association between 25-hydroxyvitamin D levels and cognitive performance in middle-aged and older European men
Authors: David M. Lee, et al. / Journal: Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery and Psychiatry,, May 2009Summary
Researchers set out to explore if vitamin D, from sun exposure and select whole foods such as oily fish, plays a role in brain health. Among over 3,000 European men aged 40-79 years, those with lower vitamin D levels had slower information processing speeds, particularly men over 60.
